k.u.k. Cook & Hofwirt chef Wolfgang Loidl serves his legendary, very traditional and whole roasted goose with red cabbage and dumplings. If you wish, you can also order a slightly “lighter” duck instead.

Especially in times like these – let’s sit together…! Always on the last Tuesday of the month at 18:30.
In collaboration with our regional No. 1 weekly newspaper, we are reviving the tradition in the Salzkammergut. Anyone who wants to participate in the appreciative exchanges and discussions in a comfortable atmosphere is welcome.
Depending on the number of people and the weather, we meet at k.u.k. Hofbeisl, Hofwirt or in our outdoor garden area. Please ask our service staff on site.

No – don’t complain, don’t dwell on the old days: Let's go future! It's your Thursday (sorry – Thirsday) for Future!
We are taking it into our own hands, together with you, the small remaining community of students in our capital of culture who, despite everything, believes in the future. We don't brake, we accelerate.
You know the capital of culture’s “Genusslabor” at Bad Ischl train station. It's about the inn... At the k.u.k. Hofbeisl we are your “bar and party laboratory”. Let’s come together and develop together. Let's get together and party, be inspired, create and develop, have fun and let the good times roll!
You are the focus this Thursday, we have an ear for all your wishes, we play your - or you make your own sounds - and we have special offers such as:
- “Thirsday Small Break” (long drink 2cl + 2cl Berliner Luft) for €8
- “Thirsday Big Break” (1 bottle of Bacardi incl. 1 L Cola + 1 bottle of Berliner Luft) for €140
- You bring your DJ with you, that means one, two or three of you can connect their playlist/laptop to our DJ desk and play your sound (after a short introduction by our team)
- And so on – we develop this together
